Ola on Wednesday announced it is firing 1,400 employees because of the coronavirus pandemic. Calling it the toughest decision he has ever taken, CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said the ride-hailing company's revenue has come down by 95% over the past two months. Every affected employee will receive a minimum financial payout of 3 months of their fixed salary, he further said.
