Drivers' unions on Sunday midnight began an indefinite strike called by MNS' transport wing against Ola and Uber across major cities in India. The drivers' main demand is that the startups ensure ₹1.5-lakh salary per month that was promised earlier. The other demands include shutting down of company-owned cabs, deciding fares as per the vehicles' costs and stopping low-fare bookings.
