The oldest ever practising doctor was Dr Leila Denmark from Georgia, United States, as recognised by the Guinness World Records. She retired in May 2001, when she was 103 years old. When Leila Denmark was 113 years old, she was also the oldest person to have held the title of 'Doctor'.
