Oldest ocean reptile ecosystem from dinosaur era found in Arctic

A vast fossil bed holding over 30,000 remains, belonging to the oldest known oceanic reptile ecosystem from the Age of Dinosaurs, has been found in Arctic. The teeth, bones, and coprolites, representing a diverse array of marine reptiles, amphibians, bony fish, and sharks that thrived around 249 million years ago were found. They give insights into early food chains.
