Rio Olympics 800-metre gold medallist David Rudisha has been named as the International Event ambassador for the ₹2.6 crore 14th Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon to be held on January. "l hope my presence will serve as an inspiration to all participants," said Rudisha. Notably, Rudisha was also the event ambassador at the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in 2012.
