Punjab government has forwarded Khalistani separatist Amritpal Singh's request for bail to take oath as Lok Sabha MP to Speaker Om Birla. Amritpal, who's lodged in an Assam jail under National Security Act (NSA), won elections as Independent candidate from Khadoor Sahib. "Speaker can decide about the oath-taking within a 60-day period that starts from June 25," Amritpal's lawyer said.
