Omani co-pilot reveals motive behind flydubai attack, says 'Did it to avenge Gaza'

Hamam al-Hammami, the co-pilot who tried to crash the flydubai plane, revealed the motive behind the attack. "I did this as revenge for Gaza. I wanted to die as a martyr," he reportedly told investigators. His initial plan was to crash the flight at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, with a US base in Jordan as his alternative target, reports said.
