Omar Abdullah should have first asked Nidhi Razdan to embrace Islam: Muslim Jamaat chief

All India Muslim Jamaat president Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has declared J&K CM Omar Abdullah and Nidhi Razdan's marriage "unlawful" under Islamic principles. He said, "Omar Abdullah should have first asked Nidhi Razdan to embrace Islam and recite the Kalma." "Only then could he have married her, making the marriage permissible under Islamic law," he added.
