Former Chief Ministers of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have criticised the use of marriage halls as barracks for CRPF. "My Government...demolished bunkers in Srinagar. It's disappointing to see the security situation in the city...regressed so far," Abdullah said. "Every day more draconian laws...brought in [to suffocate] people into silence," Mufti said.
