Dell made stock market debut on June 22, 1988, after raising $30 million with a market capitalisation of $85 million. The company was started by 19-year-old college student Michael Dell with investment of $1,000. Initially named 'PC's Limited', its name was changed to Dell Computer Corp in 1988. Dell was taken private in 2013 and went public again in 2018.
