American tennis player Serena Williams' coach Patrick Mouratoglou, who had admitted to gesturing to her during the US Open 2018 final, has said that on-court coaching should be allowed. Serena had claimed she didn't see Mouratoglou's signal and that she had "never cheated in her life". Mouratoglou argued tennis was "just about the only sport" where coaching is not allowed.
