One book shaped jihadist movements: Ex-MI6 spy Aimen Dean

Former MI6 spy Aimen Dean said on the podcast that almost every jihadist movement could be traced to one book, Sayyid Qutb's Milestones. He called Qutb the "Karl Marx of radical Islam" and said he was idolised across the Shia-Sunni divide. Dean said the ideology influenced groups behind atrocities including 9/11, the 1998 Nairobi bombing and the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
