Shares of state-owned Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Oil India rose up to 9% on Wednesday. The two stocks had fallen up to 7% in last two days amid a market crash following global selloff over fears that US was heading towards a recession. ONGC shares hit intra-day high of ₹330.85, while Oil India shares rose to ₹624.65.
