The ongoing second wave of COVID-19 may peak by May 15 with 33 to 35 lakh total active cases, as per a mathematical module devised by IIT scientists. The module suggested that cases will decline steeply by the end of May. India reported over 3.32 lakh new COVID-19 cases and 2,263 deaths in the last 24 hours.
