Government's ban on real-money games under the Online Gaming Bill would result in huge losses, wrote All India Gaming Federation (AIGF) to Home Minister Amit Shah. They explained that the Bill would create losses of ₹20,000 crore in taxes and hit 400 start-ups, involving ₹25,000 crore in foreign direct investment (FDI). It also risks over 200,000 jobs, stated the Federation.
