The app and website of online grocery delivery platform BigBasket faced a breakdown on Monday, due to an "unprecedented" surge in demand amid the coronavirus outbreak. The startup said that due to the load, it was restricting access to its website to existing customers only. This comes as 30 states and union territories announced a complete lockdown, covering 548 districts.
