A section of sellers has accused Amazon of favouring a particular merchant Cloudtail India over others and plan to take up the issue with the Competition Commission of India (CCI). This comes after Cloudtail posted a net profit (before tax) of ₹1.59 crore in FY17. Interestingly, Cloudtail is a joint venture between Amazon and Infosys Co-founder Narayana Murthy's Catamaran Ventures.
