Only 2% of DDA parks have CCTV surveillance: Audit report

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) manages 736 parks in Delhi, of which just 16, or 2%, have CCTV surveillance, according to DDA audit report. DDA has categorised 190 of its 736 parks as ‘high risk’, 258 as ‘medium risk’ and 288 as ‘low risk’. Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Sandhu ordered the audit in the aftermath of gang rape of a 17-year-old girl.
