Only 60% heart failure patients see cardiologists: Study

A French study published in the European Heart Journal showed only 60% of heart failure patients see a cardiologist each year, yet those who do are 24% less likely to die within a year. Researchers found regular specialist visits cut death risk significantly, especially for patients recently hospitalised or on diuretics. Experts urged more consistent cardiology referrals to improve survival.
