US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen called the decision of the OPEC+ to cut oil production "unhelpful and unwise" for the global economy. Speaking to the Financial Times, Yellen said, "We're very worried about developing countries and the problems they face." She added that keeping prices low was particularly helpful for countries suffering due to high energy prices.
