OpenAI has apologised for showing error-filled charts during the GPT-5 launch. In one instance, the 'coding deception' parameter showed GPT-5 at 50% against o3's 47.4%, but the chart depicted o3 with a much bigger bar. "We fixed the chart in the blog, apologies for the unintentional chart crime," an OpenAI official said.
