OpenAI has purchased the iconic chat.com domain and chat.com now redirects to OpenAI's AI-powered chatbot ChatGPT. Chat.com is one of the older domains on the web, having been registered in September 1996. HubSpot Co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah, who earlier bought chat.com for over $15 million, said he sold the domain to OpenAI but didn't disclose the final deal amount.
