OpenAI CEO Sam Altman on Monday launched a cryptocurrency project named Worldcoin. The project will scan the eyes of its users to give them a World ID, which will be used to differentiate between real people and AI bots online. Worldcoin users will also receive a digital currency 'WLD' that will be accessible via a wallet named World App.
