Paul Meade, Apple's vice president and head of its Vision Pro and smart glasses division, is leaving for OpenAI, Bloomberg reported. He will join OpenAI's hardware unit next week to develop AI-powered devices, reuniting with former Apple designers Jony Ive, Tang Tan, and Evans Hankey. The move marks another high-profile departure amid Apple's ongoing executive reshuffle.
