OpenAI has appointed JioStar CEO Kiran Mani as managing director of its Asia-Pacific operations, according to a Bloomberg report. Kiran will remain with JioStar until early June and will join OpenAI in the same month. He will be based out of OpenAI's Singapore office and will be reporting to OpenAI's Chief Strategy Officer Jason Kwon. He joined Jiostar in 2023.
