OpenAI on Thursday updated its ChatGPT Pro and Plus subscriptions to better support the growing use of the AI-powered coding model Codex. It introduced a new $100/month (₹9,251) Pro tier, which offers five times more Codex usage than the Plus plan and supports longer and high-effort Codex sessions. The announcement comes as OpenAI looks to compete with Anthropic’s Claude Code.
