OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Work, an AI agent that automates tasks across apps, files and workflows. Powered by GPT-5.6, it can pull context and ideas from connected tools to create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, reports and websites. The launch follows rival Anthropic's rollout of Claude Cowork, an enterprise AI agent built to handle complex multi-step tasks automatically.
