OpenAI on Monday launched a new AI model called GPT-4o with improved capabilities in text, video and audio. The new model allows users to interact with ChatGPT like an assistant and has the ability to perceive emotions and can also handle users interrupting it. GPT-4o is also capable of generating voice in a range of different emotive styles.

Dire wolves, that went extinct 12,500 years ago, brought back to life

A species of wolf that died out 12,500 years ago has been brought back to life, according to Dallas-based biotech company Colossal Biosciences. Scientists have created three dire wolf pups by using ancient DNA, cloning and gene-editing technology to alter the genes of a grey wolf. The result is essentially a hybrid species similar in appearance to its extinct predecessor.

Musk's now worth $297.8 billion after he lost $4.4 billion on Monday after Tesla stock extended losses. So far this year, Musk has lost $134.7 billion.

Rana, who is a Canadian national of Pakistani origin, is currently lodged in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles. Rana was arrested in the US in 2009 for his involvement in terrorism-related activities.

The lift span was seen in a slanted position in videos that surfaced on social media. After approximately 30 minutes of troubleshooting, officials managed to bring the lift back down, The Hindu said.

LPG cylinder price hiked by ₹50

Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday announced that the cost of each LPG cylinder will be hiked by ₹50 for Ujjwala and non-Ujjwala consumers. "This means the price of each cylinder will go up from ₹500 to ₹550 for Ujjwala beneficiaries. For others, it will go up from ₹803 to ₹853," Minister Puri added.
