US-based AI giant OpenAI is preparing to enter the smartphone market with its AI-focused device, with the mass production likely to begin as early as the first half of 2027, a report has claimed. Powered by a custom MediaTek chip and designed as an "AI agent phone", the device could reportedly feature advanced AI processing, cloud integration, and premium hardware.
