OpenAI and Meta are on the verge of releasing AI models that can reason, plan and have memory like humans, Financial Times reported. Meta said it's rolling out Llama 3 in coming weeks while OpenAI said GPT-5 is coming soon. "We're just starting to scratch surface on the ability that these models have to reason," said OpenAI COO Brad Lightcap.
