OpenAI has doubled the top reward under its Bio Bounty Program to $50,000 (around ₹47 lakh) for anyone who can bypass the biosafety safeguards of its most powerful AI model, GPT-5.6. The programme will also cover GPT-5.5. The ongoing private programme seeks "universal jailbreaks" that could defeat the company's predefined biology-related safety protections.
