ChatGPT-maker OpenAI has seen its annualised revenue double in the first seven months of 2025, reaching $12 billion, the Information reported on Wednesday, citing a source. The figure implies that OpenAI is generating $1 billion a month, the report said. The Microsoft-backed company has around 700 million weekly active users for its ChatGPT products, the report added.
