OpenAI, recently valued at $500 billion, has said that its nonprofit parent will own an equity stake of greater than $100 billion. The AI startup said this structure will make the nonprofit "one of the most well-resourced philanthropic organisations in the world". OpenAI also said it has signed a non-binding MOU with Microsoft for the next phase of their partnership.
