OpenAI's Pentagon deal won't allow mass domestic surveillance: Sam

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said the agreement with US Department of War to deploy AI models in their classified network prohibits domestic mass surveillance. The deal came hours after US President Donald Trump blacklisted Anthropic for rejecting government's demands to allow unrestricted use of its technology. "In all of our interactions…[government] displayed a deep respect for safety," Altman said.
