Clive Chan, OpenAI's second hardware hire and a key member of its custom chip programme, has left the AI startup after more than two years. "It's been a wild journey," Chan said in a post on X. He has joined rival AI firm Anthropic, saying, "I was deeply impressed with the team's talent, values, and ambition."
