OpenAI's Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser accused rival company Anthropic of using accounting treatments to make its revenue look "bigger than it is", The Verge reported, citing an internal memo. Dresser alleged that Anthropic is inflating its widely reported $30 billion revenue run-rate numbers by roughly $8 billion. Anthropic's narrative is built on fear and restriction of AI, she said.
