ChatGPT maker OpenAI has reached an agreement to buy AI-assisted coding tool startup Windsurf (formerly Codeium) for about $3 billion (over ₹25,280 crore), Bloomberg reported. The deal, which would be OpenAI's largest acquisition to date, hasn't yet closed. Windsurf had been in talks with investors, including General Catalyst and Kleiner Perkins, to raise funding at a $3 billion valuation.
