ChatGPT-maker OpenAI will give bonuses to about 1,000 employees, nearly one-third of its workforce, to retain staff amid competition from other companies, according to a report. Top researchers may get mid-single-digit millions, while engineers could receive hundreds of thousands, the report added. The bonuses will reportedly be in stock, cash or both.
