OpenAI will phase out its AI model GPT-4 from ChatGPT and fully replace it with the natively multimodal model GPT‑4o, effective from April 30. "In head-to-head evaluations it consistently surpasses GPT-4 in writing, coding, STEM, and more," OpenAI said about GPT‑4o.
