OpenAI has released its most advanced coding model, GPT-5.3-Codex, which the startup claims "can do nearly anything developers and professionals can do on a computer". It is also OpenAI's first model that helped create itself. "The Codex team used early versions to debug its own training, manage its own deployment and diagnose test results and evaluations," OpenAI said.
