OpenAI transcribed more than one million hours of YouTube videos to train its AI model GPT-4, The New York Times reported. Despite being aware of the potential legal implications, OpenAI believed it was fair use, the report added. Google reportedly was aware of OpenAI's action but didn't stop them as they too used YouTube videos to train its AI models.
