After the successful deployment of defence drones in Operation Sindoor, India aims to become the world’s leading defence exporter. Defence exports crossed ₹24,000 crore in FY 2024–25. The target is to increase this figure to ₹50,000 crore by 2029 and make India a developed nation and the largest defence exporter by 2047.
