Oracle leaders' ₹9,500 crore stock options lose value as shares tank 53%
Oracle Co-founder Larry Ellison and its two co-CEOs received stock options initially valued at nearly $1 billion (around ₹9,500 crore) in fiscal 2026. However, the awards had no intrinsic value at fiscal year-end after Oracle's stock price plunged 53% over the past year. Oracle recently conducted another round of layoffs after cutting 21,000 jobs as it ramped up AI spending.
