Orange warning issued for 5 districts in WB

West Bengal is bracing for heavy rain as a new low-pressure system develops over the North Bay of Bengal. The weather office has issued an orange alert for East Medinipur, West Medinipur, Jhargram, Purulia and South 24 Parganas. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also expected, with some areas seeing winds of up to 50 kmph.
