Rajasthan’s College Education Department has issued a circular stating that the entry gate of the state's government colleges should be painted orange and white. As per the department, the order was issued to create a "positive, clean, healthy and educational environment" in colleges. However, the Congress party criticised the order and called it the "saffronisation" of education.
