Oriana Power Limited signed a BESPA with TNPDCL to develop a 50 MW/100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System at Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. Supported by ₹27 crore Viability Gap Funding, the project aims to enhance grid stability by balancing power supply and demand. It forms part of a broader plan to deploy grid-scale storage systems statewide.
