Oscar-winning Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar will head the jury at the 70th Cannes Film Festival which will be held from May 17 to 28 this year. Almodovar said that he was grateful, honoured and a bit overwhelmed at being chosen as the president of the jury. Notably, Almodovar has had five of his films shown in competition at the festival.
