Our aim must be to have 50 Indian firms in Fortune 500: PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi on Independence Day set a target of having 50 Indian companies feature in Fortune 500. Addressing the nation from the Red Fort, he said India's economic ambitions must go beyond becoming a large domestic market and focus on creating globally competitive companies. At least one Indian bank should rank among the world’s top five banks, he added.
