Zepto Co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha explained the meaning of the hyper-local grocery delivery startup's name. "Why Zepto? Zepto is the shortest unit of measurable time in Physics. It's 10 to the power of -21 seconds," Palicha said. "That's why we thought [the name] Zepto connotates [the startup's] speed and that was one of the core value propositions," he added.
