Our stand remains the same: MEA on Pak PM's rant over suspension of Indus Waters Treaty

After Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif ranted against India over Indus Waters Treaty being held in abeyance since April 2025, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "There's no change in India's stance on this." India has maintained that the 1960 water-sharing pact will be suspended until Pakistan stops sponsoring cross-border terrorism. "Every drop of Pakistan's water is our red line," Sharif said.
